You are welcome to reproduce this chart/calendar for personal use and/or for free distribution within your own church congregation. For other uses please obtain permission from Pastor Hanna first.
- Keep this Calendar with your Bible. Mark each day that you read by crossing out or highlighting the date in the left column. Aim to read your Bible every day! Mark or highlight each chapter after you read it on the right side of the chart.
- Read consecutively, beginning at Genesis 1. To complete the Bible in one year, read 23 chapters (one complete row) per week; that is 3 chapters every weekday and 4 chapters on Saturdays and Sundays.
- After finishing a row of 23 chapters, check off the box in the center column to mark the row as completed.
- Monitor your progress by comparing the completed rows (chapters read) on the right side with the current week of the calendar on the left side. If you should happen to fall behind, then read an extra chapter per day until you catch up. (The Psalms are a good place to catch up or get ahead.)

ABR Chart
Bill Smallman of BMM has prepared an excellent tool to encourage and motivate you to read the whole Bible through in one year. It is not bound to the calendar, so you can use this form during any calendar year–or, spread your reading out over two or more years. I’ve translated this chart into Chinese as well (Traditional Script). This document has two pages (front and back); Dr. Smallman’s instructions for use are found on the back. Download it, print it, and use it!
